God’s Presence in the Magic:
My Experience at a Christian Concert at Disney
Maverick City came to Epcot from May 11 to May 12 to share the good news of the Lord. Epcot was packed with guest trying to get into the concert and the line went all they way passed Germany. Faithfully I got a seat in the sixth row under the awning.
When the concert started the Lord's Presence was there. Everyone in the crowd was singing their heart out and worshipping. Maverick City played a lot of their popular songs including Jireh, I Thank God, In The Room, Million Little Miracles, and more!
As a photographer and a Christian, I wanted to enjoy the concert but also take photographs because I know my goal as a photographer. This was a big opportunity for me and I knew that I didn't want to mess this up. When the concert was going on, I was struggling to take photos because the people in front of me and around me were worshipping. But I knew that I couldn't give up so easily because my goal is to go on tour with a Christian artist or band and be their photographer. I have a lot of experience taking concert photos but taking photos during church service as I serve as the youth group media leader.
