Tyla Yaweh becoming the new generation of sound?

Tyla Yahew and 104.5 the Beat radio station came out to F.I.R.S.T Institute college in Orlando, Florida to showcase Tyla’s new songs and to give students an opportunity to win tickets to his upcoming show. Throughout the whole time they were here they gave out multiple tickets and even had a Q&A. As a portrait and sport photographer, I didn't have experience as a concert photographer but I knew that I wanted to be a concert photographer in my career. This was the beginning of that journey. I went up to the mic and decided to be bold and ask if Tyla wanted and needed a photographer for the event. By big surprise, he said he would love to have me. Then I was excited for his manager to give me information to receive a media pass for this concert.
As I arrived at RumJungle in Orlando, Florida. I was really nervous but a couple of winners of the tickets were going. When I walked in, the venue was empty as I was one of the first people to arrive but with that I was able to move around freely to get some interesting photographs of the DJs before Tyla came on. I got access to behind the stage and to be on the stage with the DJs and Tyla. As Tyla arrived he came by everyone and had a conversation with all of the people that arrived. When he came up to me, he remembered me admittedly and was asking questions on how my business is going and the photos.
After staying for the whole concert, I was really excited to go through the photos and to edit this full gallery. I was and still am really proud of this whole experience from getting out of my comfort zone to creating beautiful portfolio pieces. When posting these photographs I had multiple choices to make but I knew that I wanted to have a lot of views on my page. So with that I decided to make different posts for the different artists and DJs. Then I would tag and collaborate with the venue and the artist or DJs. Mostly all did accept that request and repost on their story, making my profile blow up. Then instead of stopping there, I sent the gallery to everyone that performed at the venue with a little personalized message.
My take away from this is to never be afraid of just asking for opportunities because the worst thing that will happen is them saying no. But even then your name and business is out there from whoever was listening.
During this concert, I recently just purchased the new Nikon Z6iii with a 28-75mm f/2.8. So I was really excited to use my new gear because this camera is really good with high ISO versus my other camera. My whole gear that I bought was a Nikon Z5 with a 70-200mm f/2.8 and a Nikon z6iii with a 28-75mm f/2.8 on a dual leather harness strap.
